Bush joins in on attacks on forests and parks

If you thought taking on the Gov. Schwarzenegger was tough enough, now we've got President Bush to deal with.

Once again, the oil and timber companies have set their sights on California's national forests... and once again, the president and his industry-friendly administration is all too willing to help.

Now, even as we fight to keep 48 state parks open, we face a new battle to keep the oil and timber interests out of Los Padres and three more of southern California's national forests.

We've raised over $10,000 now, and are almost to our goal of $12,000. Your support comes at a crucial time as we fight to keep 48 state parks open and battle to keep the oil and timber interests out of Los Padres and other southern California national forests.
