Environment California’s 2016 Endorsements

Through their voting records and expressed advocacy in support of Environment California’s key issues — including global warming, open space, clean air, clean water and clean energy — these candidates have earned both our trust and endorsement. That's why we're encouraging voters to support these candidates on or before election day, November 8, 2016.

Hillary Clinton for President

For president, the choice could not be more clear, which is why Environment California endorsed Hillary Clinton for President. Her leadership over the past 30 years, her recognition of all that is at stake in our environmental present and, most importantly, her definitive and achievable plans for making our future cleaner and greener, leaves us eager to see, and work with, such a champion in The White House. We hope you join us in helping elect Secretary Clinton as the 45th President of the United States.

Kamala Harris for U.S. Senate

California leads the way when it comes to protecting our environment, and Kamala Harris is very much a part of why that is so. She has been a strong defender of California’s environmental laws, while working as the State’s Attorney General.  We trust that she will represent our environmental values in Washington, D.C.
